This outstanding selection from Minnesota has a yellow background which is almost entirely covered with a red blush. It is excellent for both fresh eating and cooking and stores exceptionally well. Although it is scab resistant and cold hardy, it does have some bitter pit problems that are easier to manage in a commercial setting (foliar calcium sprays are suggested).
