Another super-hardy Russian selection that has proven to perform well for Dr. Ieuan Evans and others in Edmonton. We were favourably impressed when our Loving tree began fruiting, so we've now started propagating it. The large, chubby, green pears with barely any neck acquires a slight golden blush at ripening. With tender, juicy flesh, it lends itself well to both fresh eating and processing. Although winter hardiness is its foremost claim to fame, Loving also scores high in productivity and disease resistance.

Not sure why this tree failed to branch out and died. It arrived alive. All the other trees I received were potted with the same soil mix ,survived and did well.
