European Plum : OPAL Semi-Dwarf (Mustang) (Orchard Grade)

An 'orchard grade' is a tree that may be somewhat shorter, slightly crooked, or a bit scratched, or for some other reason is not a perfect front lawn specimen. These trees will work just as well in an orchard as a first or number one would, since they still produce the very same fruit.

The hardiest European plum and also one of the best for short summer regions – it ripens dependably every year in Edmonton and even in Anchorage, Alaska. Midsize, round, reddish-purple plums with golden-orange flesh have a complex, sweet flavour. Desirable for both dessert or drying. Tree is vigorous, productive and precocious. These trees should be staked!

Arrived in good packaging, tree started to sprout new growth not long after planting, so very happy, and will purchase from here again.
