Orchardists everywhere wanted to grow it, and although its' hardiness allows it to go north, you need a really long summer to ripen it. Daybreak™ is a natural mutation discovered in Orrtana, PA, that maintains the sweet flavour and famous Fuji crunch, but ripens 4-5 weeks earlier. Like the original Fuji, Daybreak™ can be stored all winter.
