Not a good survival rate. Planted evening the arrived. But surving plants do seem to be thriving now.

All strawberries came professionally wrapped. Growing beautifully and started flowering which I've removed. I want the plants to concentrate on the roots.

Planted in early May--its now June 1--they've leafed out and blossomed--still waiting to see how they'll do over the season.

Massive harvest coming up , 99 percent survival rate, same thing for the Evelyn variety. These are June bearing strawberries. I Tried putting them in those 5 tier vertical planters the first year and they didn't do so well, so I transfered them to the ground and they picked right up and are at least 3 times as large. The folks at Whiffle tree know their stuff. Mr ? Not so much...lol..I wanted ever bearing but chose the wrong type of berry, but hey, who cares I bought 50 Seascape to round out the 25 Evelynn AND 25 Audrey . OMG Two whole plants didn't make it...lol Looking forward to a massive harvest. Gonna have to cover them to keep the cute rats with fur (aka Look Squirrel ! ) At bay.. Happy gardening. Thank you W.T. Your blackberry and raspberry varieties rock as well. All have high success rates so far and I highly recommend this nursery, for their prompt delivery , excellent prices and great products. My 30x50 backyard is now a duckin berry farm ..gee thanks..lol.. place yer orders in late fall..DO IT. You wont regret it, unless yer a lousy gardener, In which case yer pooched anyways..lol.. Whiffle Tree ROCKS !
