Being named after the god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses in Greek mythology is not the only reason this rose is rather legendary. Poseidon™ is practically alone in its colour class, plus, it has proven disease resistance that is out of this world. The flowers are usually borne in clusters of deep pink and wine coloured buds. The blooms emerge in cool shades of lovely lavender-blue which becomes more mauve as they mature. Plant Poseidon™ in a site with a bit of shade for the best colour.

What is Orchard Grade?

An 'orchard grade' is a tree that may be somewhat shorter, slightly crooked, or a bit scratched, or for some other reason is not a perfect front lawn specimen. These trees will work just as well in an orchard as a first or number one would, since they still produce the very same fruit.
