The Fairy Tale® series from Kordes, the historic German rose breeders, features old-fashioned, fully petaled flowers with the excellent disease resistance that is becoming the new normal for modern roses. Elegant™ is well-named, with delicate frilly ruffles of creamy, soft pink surrounding a deeper carnation-pink centre. As the buds unfurl, they bear an uncanny resemblance to camellia blooms for some time. The relatively compact carefree bush fills out with healthy foliage right to the ground, making it an ideal candidate for various landscaping applications.

What is Orchard Grade?

An 'orchard grade' is a tree that may be somewhat shorter, slightly crooked, or a bit scratched, or for some other reason is not a perfect front lawn specimen. These trees will work just as well in an orchard as a first or number one would, since they still produce the very same fruit.
