A great low-maintenance orchard ground cover.
Our custom mix contains:
25% Creeping Red Fescue
25% Perennial Ryegrass
25% Kentucky Bluegrass
25% No. 1 White Dutch Clover
Recommended by leading orchardists as the ideal permanent alley
crop. Low growing and very dense, it recovers quickly from heavy traffic and cuts mowing to a minimum. It is also resilient enough for grazing. Seeding rate 1kgs per 100 sq meters or 2 lbs per 1000 sq ft. A 25kg bag will do close to 1 acre.
